Facilities Planning ServicesWe have on-going planning and design projects for facilities in the US and around the world. We do periodic field trips to gather pertinent data and meet with the client. Work is performed at our main office in Longview or from home with Skype calls and periodic visits to the office.

Architect

►  Plans and designs buildings and structures
►  Supervises and coordinates with the design team in all phases of project development
►  Prepares construction documents, specifications and cost estimates for buildings
►  Has a general knowledge of procedures used on the job and in the office
►  Understands building systems, including HVAC, utilities, and structure
►  Communicates with clients about all pertinent local, state and federal codes and laws
►  A year or more of work experience is desired, but not required

Civil Engineer

Prepares calculations, design sketches, contract documents and specifications for site work, including storm/sewer design, earthwork, drainage, development of water sources, etc.
Responsible for doing the required drafting, or overseeing it, as well as coordinating work with architects, other engineers and CAD drafters on the project

Mechanical Engineer

Prepares, calculations, design sketches, specifications and cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for buildings
Responsible for doing the required drafting, or overseeing it, as well as coordinating work with architects, other engineers and CAD drafters on the project

CAD Drafter

Experience in architectural and/or building engineering systems. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit software is desirable
Primarily responsible to develop construction drawings from sketches by architects and engineers. Work may include mapping, site development drawings and construction drawings for building systems
Work is assigned and supervised by a project supervisor (architect or engineer)

Architectural Designer

Takes schematic designs, sketches, concepts, etc. and develops finished contract documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit software packages
Work also includes mapping, site planning and design, preliminary design layouts and construction documents for buildings.

Structural Engineer

Prepares calculations, design sketches, specifications and cost estimates for structural design of buildings and miscellaneous structures
Responsible for doing the required drafting, or overseeing it, as well as coordinating their work with architects, other engineers and drafters on the project

Electrical Engineer

Prepares calculations, design sketches, specifications and cost estimates for power and lighting systems for buildings
Responsible for doing the required drafting, or overseeing it, as well as coordinating their work with architects, other engineers and drafters on the project

Construction Project Manager

Construction background is needed; capable of providing administrative and supervisory oversight of construction projects for “client” missions.
Experience with job scheduling, estimating and quantity takeoff, obtaining bids, executing contracts and change orders, expediting supplies, setting up accounts, controlling costs, assisting with architectural and engineering design decisions
Onsite supervision of volunteer workers is often required.
Mobility is an important factor for this position.

Most work will be performed at our main office in Longview, Texas. Periodic field trips will be required to gather data needed for the job.
